Resolution Rules & Criteria
This is a market on whether any COVID-19 vaccination will receive regulatory approval, in the form of either FDA approval or Emergency Use Authorization, for use by children under 12 years of age before November 1, 2021, at 12:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to “Yes” if any COVID-19 vaccine for young children receives FDA approval or EUA prior to the resolution date, November 1, 2021, at 12:00 PM ET, and "No" otherwise.
This market will be resolved according to the FDA list of licensed vaccines (https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/vaccines/vaccines-licensed-use-united-states), the FDA EUA list (https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/mcm-legal-regulatory-and-policy-framework/emergency-use-authorization), and the FDA recommendations for particular age groups (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/specific-groups.html). If these sources are not sufficient to resolve the market, credible news agencies will serve as a substitute.
